Forbes, the magazine of record for the mainstream global business
community, has announced a new CSR blog. Frederick Allen, the
Leadership Editor of Forbes, promises to bring together contributions
from the best minds in CSR, with bloggers from business schools,
nonprofits, consultancies, and companies. The blog will supplement
Forbes’s corporate citizenship and leadership coverage. 


The Global Reporting Initiative has announced public surveys of
sustainability issues for the categories of construction and real
estate, and of event organizers. The surveys are intended to address
sector specific issues not covered in GRI’s general guidelines. All
stakeholders are invited to submit feedback through an online survey at
globalreporting.org, from now until August. The surveys will result in
detailed reporting guidance for the two sectors. The Global Reporting
Initiative has developed the most widely used Sustainability Reporting
Framework adopted by companies and organizations worldwide.
