YouTube is teaming up with See3 Communications for the DoGooder Nonprofit Video Awards, to recognize those organizations that have used video to the greatest effect in creating lasting social change in the past year. Winners will be selected in each of four categories: best small, medium, and large organizations, and best innovation. Winners will be recognized at the Nonprofit Technology Conference in Atlanta and on YouTube, and each winner will receive a $2,500 dollar grant from the Case Foundation and a custom flip Camera. Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts has recently completed a Climate Action Plan as the school’s road map to carbon neutrality. The plan aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from campus operations to 50 percent below 2008 levels by 2015, and 100 percent by 2030. Since July First of last year, Bentley has saved 1.5 million kilowatt hours of electricity compared to the previous year at this time. Bentley is also a signatory of the American College and University President’s Climate Commitment.
