The relationship between Stonyfield & Danone



The former NGO activist Gary Hirshberg wanted to become the leader of organic food in The United States in 2001 when he decided to sell 60% of Stonyfield to Franck Riboud, the CEO of Danone. Todat, although the organic food only represents 3% of the food market in the USA, Stonyfield is the leader of organic yogurt, with big perspectives of growth.
