Obama disappoints Nicolas Hulot in Copenhaguen
Everybody was expecting Barack Obama speech in Copenhaguen, but the
Nobel Peace Prize Laureate didn’t fill the expectations. Barack Obama repeated
the commitment of Hillary Clinton: 10 billion dollars to finance the
adaptation of developing countries to climate change by 2012, and the
US participation to 100 billion dollars by 2020. The US commits to cut
greenhouse gases in the range of 17% by 2020 and of 80% by 2050 from
2005 levels.
