World Meteorological Organization, IPCC, ILO, Geneva Press Club, UNEP, Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, Green Cross, Swiss Federal Office for the Environment FOEN, Canton of Geneva

The four-day Geneva sessions will focus on the following:

• The impact of climate change on disasters, humanitarian response and development
• Seeking concrete solutions
• The role of media: informing affected populations, improving awareness, serving as a watchdog for global accountability.
• Interactive group discussions with key experts (panels).
• Breakfast and/or “brown bag” lunch sessions for select leaders or experts.
• Own reporting in Geneva: Media21 will facilitate contacts (individually or small groups).
